Grumps Burgers

Super fresh ground beef makes delicious hamburgers. They've been around for long time for reason. They have a really cool wiffle ball court in the back. Something you don't see very often.

Very reasonable priced for such great food. Will be going there again and often too

This was my first time eating there. The food is great. The staff is very nice and professional. Nice atmosphere, colorful, attracts an older crowd from what I noticed. Plenty of seating. The only thing I didn't like was the peanuts that sit out since I'm allergic to them but they are easily avoidable. It's not like they got in my food. And also they aren't boiled which is the most God awful smell. The wait during lunch was a bit long but that's really a good sign. It means they have such good food that people are willing to wait to eat there. That's always a good.sign.

Delicious burgers. Family friendly. Good prices. Helpful and friendly staff. What else do you need in a burger joint?

Great Burger's The Jalepeno Ketchup is a must try. It's fabulously delicious on everything! The staff is curteous and the place has a wonderful atmosphere as well as the coldest beers on tap

When they say "best burgers in Hood county" they really earned it. I've ventured far and wide to find the perfect burger. As a Texan I am naturally inclined to shove a quarter pounder down my throat as often as possible. I would say Grumps is the best burger joint in hood county and probably better than any burger you'd find in Wise county. Maybe Tarrant too. If you find yourself in Granbury you best get yourself a Grumps burger. A+++ french fries also fantastic.

Burger was good. But the last two stars are really for the whiffle ball field out back. Badass

Very good food, I was so hungry I started eating before taking picture. The burger was delicious. Also glad we had beat the crowd that came in after we were seated. Our first time here but it won't be our last.

Had a awesome experience in here with my kid. The food comes rapidly and the service is just great. Prices are convenient.

Burgers worth trying. They also have fountain drinks from the Dublin bottling company. A Texas institution where Dr.Pepper began

Been there twice now. All good. The food, service and the atmosphere. Kind of like stepping back in time with that small country feeling. Had the cheeseburger and fries both times. Consistantly good. Will eat there again next I'm in Granbury.

Great Customer Service! We had Grumps food truck cater our Grand Opening this week and the customer service was great. They had a small mishap with the food truck that delayed the food a bit but at the end of the day they made it right. As always the burgers were great and A-Affordable would highly recommend Grumps for any of your catering needs!

I have never ate at Grumps before so I didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was fantastic with all the antiques and barn themes. The service and hospitality was the best I have had in a long time. The whole staff did a wonderful job. The food was absolutely great...the best Patty Melt I have ever ate. I highly recommend eating at Grumps.

It's ok, nothing special. Good environment kids like the peanuts. I saw all the best in hood county all over the wall and just wonder if maybe this is just a home town following. I try burgers in pretty much every city I go to and I honestly feel like Tommy's off of mambrino has a better burger. The burger is an ok burger but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Go to the green pickle in Glen Rose if you want a really good hamburger in the area

In my admittedly biased opinion, one of the best burgers in the world. We always enjoy playing whiffle baseball after our meal.

Grumps!!! Yeah baby good burger especially with the chilly cheese option. My only gripe is chosing between the fries, chips and onion rings. All are good sides. Worth the trip... It is a simple burger just done well or medium 🙂. The peanuts make for a nice appetizer......

My husband and I go here every Valentine's Day. We are kind of twisted like that. Going to a place called Grumps to celebrate your romantic day? If you knew us you would understand. LOL The burgers are always delicious and who doesn't love peanuts on the table? The deep fried pickles have changed for the better. They use to cook them to death but now they are just perfect balance of juicy pickle and crisp batter. :) margaritas have changed too. They lean a little bit more to a taste of..sweet tartish kinda thing. I'm more of a lime girl on those but it was ok. Husband enjoyed his spicy fries and I still dig that jalapeno ketchup!

Love it absolutely amazing!! They have the best burgers and waitresses. The burgers are delicious, as well as the onion rings. Would definitely recommend. It's also family friendly.

*Delicious Food* *Easy to find* *Good Tasting French Fries* *Poor Customer Service*I'd like to have had coleslaw instead of french fries however the fries were really good.The drinks were ok, other than the fact that the orange cream was empty and tasted like orange flavored soada water and when I asked the Manager if they could refill it she argued with me saying that there's still some left in the machine and that she could see it coming out after I pointed out the tubing was clear and empty I asked her to please taste it because it tasted awful and she continued to just argue with me and acted very unprofessional, otherwise we'd not only return to this location but I'd give them 4 stars and suggest other people to visit, unfortunately they didn't treat us with respect and value our business enough to earn a better rating.

We ordered well done burgers and crispy fries - that did not happen. It was 12:30 and one family there nobody infront of us, they were not busy. No reason for order to be cooked as we asked.

Great place, great food, and GREAT owner!

Very quirky and fun place to grab some food, can get very busy. Service is great and the sides are fairly decent. Where this burger place fails is with the burger; overcooked, dry, generally bland.

Truly a great hamburger. Not your typical chain place at all. Grumps is truly a Texas original.

Grumps is an absolute MUST if you are in town! The staff there are amazing and they get it right. The burgers are amazing and I prefer the chili cheese burger but the mushroom and Swiss burger is also fantastic. Don't hesitate to stop by try them if you haven't already.

I got the quesoburger. Best burger I've ever had! The fries were great, too. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe, and the staff was great.
